PRIVACY POLICY
Short version: we collect almost nothing, sell nothing, and delete on request. This page is the long version for the careful reader.
What we collect
Newsletter email addresses you type yourself, plus anonymous pageview counts with no accounts, no pixels and no fingerprinting. Contact-form messages live only until answered. We run no behavioural advertising and no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
Newsletter email sends the newsletter only: roughly weekly, unsubscribe in one click, no re-engagement spam. Anonymous counts tell us which stories to update. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with data brokers.
Cookies, plainly
We set at most two things: a privacy-respecting analytics cookie that counts visits without identifying you, and a newsletter preference cookie if you subscribe. No advertising cookies and no social trackers. Blocking all cookies breaks nothing except remembering your signup.
Children and sensitive data
Sauhalbrook is written for adults and collects nothing knowingly from children under 13. Never send identification numbers, financial details or confidential documents through our forms unless a reporter has asked you to and explained how it will be stored.
Your rights
Request export or deletion anytime at Contact us; we answer within seven days and confirm when done. California and EU visitors hold the same rights here regardless of residence. Requests are free and never affect access to the site.
Your inbox is yours. We borrow an address, never take data.
