ABOUT US
Sauhalbrook is an independent general news publication. Clear reporting on the stories that shape ordinary days.
Who we are
We are a small editorial team of reporters, editors and data analysts covering general news, world updates, current affairs, breaking stories and daily insights. Sauhalbrook began in 2026 with a simple premise: readers deserve clear reporting that shows its sources, separates fact from interpretation and admits what is not yet known.
Our mission
Help readers understand the news without being overwhelmed by it. We publish free, plain-language reporting on the decisions that affect households, communities and public life, and we explain the mechanism behind the headline rather than only the reaction to it.
Editorial standards
No sponsored stories and no pay-to-rank coverage. We link to primary sources where they exist, label analysis as analysis, and correct errors openly with a timestamp. When a story is developing, we distinguish confirmed facts from claims under investigation. We do not publish a claim simply because it is being repeated.
The team
Claire Bennett (senior correspondent), Daniel Osei (world affairs editor), Maya Chen (policy analyst), Tom Alvarez (field reporter), Priya Nair (data journalist) and Grace Kim (daily editor), supported by contributing reporters and fact-checkers who review every piece before publication.
How to support our work
Read the reporting, share it with someone who would find it useful, and subscribe to the weekly briefing. Reader attention funds independent coverage. We accept no sponsored placements, so audience trust is the entire business model.
